Deputy Consul-General of Consulate General of Australia in Shanghai Michael Clifton Visited Lucky Horse International Wine Culture Center

On Feb.24th,Deputy Consul-General of Consulate General of Australia in Shanghai and General Manager China of Australian Trade Commission Michael Clifton who accompanied by Chairman of PMI Investment Group and J.P. Sophy Liu,CEO Rob Hodge visited Shanghai Lucky Horse International Wine Culture Center to inspect the progress of Australian Pavilion which will soon be opened in this center.

Australian Pavilion in Lucky Horse International Wine Culture Center is set up by Australian government departments and industry associations,such as Australian Agriculture Union, Wine Australia, Australian Trade Commission, Tourism Australia, Australian Wine Association,Barossa Grape & Wine Association,Australian Hotel & Restaurant Association,SME Association,CCCA and ACBC.It’s a window to completely display Australian wines,foods,tourism resources,education and the exchange of Australian and Chinese culture. After inspection and negotiation in China for a long time,finally it was chosen to set up in Shanghai Lucky Horse International Wine Culture Center.The design team of Australian Pavilion started to work on Feb.28th.Before the arrival of the design team,Michael Clifton came to visit the project and listen and guide the progress of Australian Pavilion on the spot.He appreciated the good geographic location and mature hardware facilities of Lucky Horse International Wine Culture Center.At the same time,he talked about the visiting of Australian prime minister to China in April and the relative arrangements of the Australian Week to be held in Shanghai.He also invited Mr. Lin to visit Australia with trade representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture of China in May.
